As the 2025 season draws toward a close, we look ahead to our club presentation day.
Like previous years the Junior & Youth presentation day will be at the Avalon Public School Hall on SATURDAY 6TH SEPTEMBER where we will be recognising the efforts of players, coaches, managers, families, volunteers and sponsors throughout the season.
So now it’s up to you to nominate the recipients of our AVSC Perpetual Trophies and Awards!
If you have any nominations for the following categories, please email them to president@avalonsoccerclub.com.au
Include the person’s name, role, and why you would like to nominate them.
All nominations must be received no later than close of business FRIDAY 8TH AUGUST.
Each nomination will be considered, and winners will be chosen by the Executive Committee. Their decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
IMPORTANT NOTE:- Perpetual Trophies are for Competition Teams (U12/W12 and above)

• Junior Comp. Coach of the Year (U12-U16 Sat Mixed Comp)
• Junior Comp. Manager of the Year (U12-U16 Sat Mixed Comp & W12-W16 Sun Girls Comp)
• Ladies Comp. Coach of the Year (W12+)
• Senior Comp. Coach of the Year (U18+ Men)
• Senior Comp. Manager of the Year (U18+ Men and Women)
Player Awards:
• Junior Goalkeeper of the Year (Michael Carroll Trophy) – (U12-U16 Sat Mixed Comp & W12-W16 Sun Girls Comp)
• Junior Girls Best & Fairest Player of the Year (Mia Waters Trophy) – (W12-W16 Sun Girls Comp)
• Junior Boys Best & Fairest Player of the Year – (U12-U16 Sat Mixed Comp)
Member Awards:
These next four awards are not necessarily based on work done this year only.
They can be awarded based on service provided to the club over several years.
• Services to the Club (assistance to the club) – Dick Wiseman Trophy
• Services to the Club (around the ground) – Greg Ball Shield
• Services to the Club by a Female Volunteer – Pat Ford Memorial Award
• Clubman (person) of the Year – Tony Atherton Trophy
