We are delighted to announce the return of Avalon SC Player Development, with the first term of the year kicking off in March.
At Avalon Soccer Club, coaching is centered on the holistic development of players, emphasising the mastery of the 4 core skills:
• 1st Touch
• Striking the Ball
• Running with the Ball
• 1v1 Situations
Sessions are designed using the AVSC Coaches Manual, ensuring that each practice is structured to build technical proficiency, tactical awareness, and confidence on the ball.
Players are given the opportunity to develop these foundational skills through engaging, game-related drills that encourage creativity, decision-making, and a strong understanding of the game.
By consistently reinforcing these core areas, Avalon Soccer Club creates a progressive and supportive environment where players can grow, refine their abilities, and reach their full potential on the field.
In March, on Monday and Friday we are offering an additional training session right here at Careel Bay, run by highly experienced and qualified coaches.
We will have AVALON SC PLAYER DEVELOPMENT running on these days.

The initial cost is $80 for 4 sessions, and the aim is to introduce your kids to new skills, and drills and develop their love of football and be able to take into matches.
Places are limited to ensure that we can provide enough coaches to players, so don’t delay!
